Just got an exciting note. Age before Beauty, the second book in the Sister-to-Sister Series, will be featured as the Good News selection of the online book club DearReader.com during the week of September 28-October 2! Since I've been a subscriber of the DearReader.com emails for years, this is really exciting news for me. It's sort of like walking into a library and seeing your book on display on the "Our Staff's Favorites" table or something!
If you're not familiar with DearReader.com, here's how it works. You subscribe with your email address, and you select the type of books you enjoy. You can choose from Mystery, Thriller, Science Fiction, Good News (which features the Christian selections), and several others. Every week, the staff at DearReader.com selects a book in each of their categories. They break the first 2-3 chapters into five daily installments, and email them to you. So you receive an email every day with a brief excerpt from the book. By the end of the week, you've read the beginning of the book. If you've enjoyed what you read, you can purchase the book, or request that your local library add it to their collection. If you're not crazy about it, then you haven't lost anything. It's a great deal!
